The federal Internal Revenue Service has determined that the Foundation is excempt from federal income tax as an organization described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Similarly, the State of California has determined that the foundation is exempt from the state franchise or income tax under California Revenue and Taxation Code section 23701d.
Consistent with IRS regulations, the Foundation's annual tax returns are available to interested members of the public.
